Around 170 children from age 5 to 15 take part in our Junior Stags programme. We aim to make cricket enjoyable, ensure it is played in the right spirit and to provide an environment where young people have the opportunity to develop their potential.
At Grange there is a strong focus on developing excellence. John Blain, our Head Coach/Director of Cricket, is an elite ECB Level 4 coach and will oversee all our coaching.
There are currently more than 30 Grange players in National and Area Academies and development squads. The Junior Stags have an excellent record in National Cup competitions and are looking forward to a strong year ahead. For the past six years we have taken a team to the prestigious Shrewsbury Festival where the Club has competed strongly against English county sides. The Club will return to Shrewsbury in 2016.
