Can you help put the T in cricket?
It is the Committee's wish to provide teas for players and officials throughout the season and I am seeking the help of wives, parents, girlfriends, friends etc to help put the T in cricket.
First XI and Second XI games start 12.00 noon with tea taken at approximately 3.00pm. Third XI games start at 1pm with tea taken round about 3.30pm. You will be compensated for providing teas.
Please email me to confirm your availability. Even if you feel able to help out only once in the season, this would be appreciated.
Please join the tea rota if you can.

At the end of the season, the Grange Cricket Club will make a donation of £5.00 for each individual named to the Primary Club (www.primaryclub.org), the cricketers' charity that raises money to provide sports and recreational facilities for the visually impaired.

Scoreboard 2019

Carlton 4 Grange 1 Scoreboard archive
Grange and Carlton have been rivals for over 100 years. The Clubs have met on an annual basis with each enjoying periods of success. Both have produced numerous internationalists and play at two of the most scenic grounds in Scotland.
With the recent growth in junior cricket these matches have become even more commonplace. Indeed, rarely a week goes by without there being a game at some level between the two Clubs.
In the Autumn of 2011 Fraser Watts, the current Captain of Carlton and Bobby Frazer, a past President of Grange, decided over a beer in the West End that it was time to mark this history by playing for an annual trophy the Watts Frazer Trophy. Rather than confining it to matches between the two Clubs excellent First Elevens it was agreed that all matches during the season, at senior and junior levels, will count.
It is not to be taken too seriously but at the same time it is hoped that it will ensure both Clubs will continue to compete against each other in the healthiest of spirit, and promote the game of cricket in the best possible fashion.
The trophy will be presented at the Club dinner of whoever has come out on top over the course of the season.
At the time of writing Grange hold the trophy. Long may the games continue.
